Congratulations to Alison McBride and Jennifer Bryans on reaching the last 16 of the Midlothian Championship. Alison was narrowly beaten by Louise Fraser (Kingsknowe) in the first stage of the knockout rounds. Jennifer won through to the semis where unfortunately Kate Rorke (Kingsknowe) proved the stronger player on the day. Congratulations also to Helen Warnock who reached the last 16 of the ‘B’ Championship where she lost to the eventual winner Gail Joughin (Comiston).
