The result of the Texas Scramble has been updated following the disqualification of the original winning team, who signed for an incorrect score.

During the process it became apparent that most teams have two players who never see the scorecard and the burden of responsibility falls on the marker, with one other merely counter signing the card at the end.  Going forward the Council emphasise that all 4 players in each team have a responsibility to check their scorecard for accuracy, in the same way as ordinary medal competitions.  This will provide a more robust and rigorous method and hopefully ensure another situation like this doesn’t happen again.
