It is with regret that I must advise members that our Treasurer, Louise Hutson, has decided to step down from her role in the club.
Louise assumed responsibility as Treasurer just over two years ago and she has been instrumental in driving many changes and improvements seen at our club in the last 24 months.
As well as Treasurer, Louise, as part of her wider role as a Trustee of the club, was instrumental in bringing Bistro19 to Harburn and in driving the improvements to the members lounge and new function suite.
Louise has worked tirelessly on behalf of Harburn Golf Club in her joint role as Treasurer and Trustee (on top of her full time employment as project Manager away from Harburn) and she leaves with the heartfelt thanks of both myself as newly installed Captain, and of course from our immediate Past Captain, Jim McGrane.
I’m now tasked with finding a replacement for the Treasurer position as quickly as possible and if you feel you possess the necessary accounting skills and experience for this role, then please forward your details to the Club Manager, Fraser Jervis as soon as possible, he will then send you the role profile and contact you as to the way forward.
The role of Treasurer is a remunerated part time position and carries a stipend of £3,000 per annum.
