What a great week for Stuart Houlden , our Club Professional to host his first Junior Camp of the summer!

16 youngsters attended the camp to learn all things golf under his expert guidance and the weather could not have been better for everyone.

Stuart’s focus as always is fun learning and he worked with two groups during the camp – under 11’s and over 11’s.

With the under 11’s, coaching was around the main golf skills of putting, chipping and driver and iron swing differences.

For the over 11’s it was a more focussed approach on distance control in putting and short game , playing from awkward and sloping lies as well as general golf swing work.

Stuart says don’t worry if you missed out this week as he has more sessions planned next week.

Harburn Junior members go free and it is £30 for non-members to attend the 3 sessions of the week
