The penultimate round of the Kirk Rosebowl Medal qualifiers took place in damp and windy conditions yesterday glorious with a field of 82 players competing to book their place in the Final on August 17th.
The last chance to qualify is next Wednesday!
The course continues to improve and the greens were running well and our top players seemed to enjoy the conditions judging by their scoring.
In the Division One competition Karl Conway took the honours with a two under par gross 69 which gave net 66, one shot clear of Nick Henderson who score scratch 68 and net 67 and Chris Curran who finished third shot a scratch 66 net 69.
Karl was out in net level par 36, and a fine back nine of gross 32, net 30 secured his win, which included birdies at 11,13 and 16.
