Silloth 2025

A huge thank you to all our members and guests who played and or donated in our Silloth event on Saturday, really appreciated, in particular, to the second set of players who had to endure the typical Scottish weather in the afternoon.

Also, to all our Sponsors for their incredible support and generosity to help us host the event, thank you.

A big shout out to our Greenkeeping team for having our course looking great as always and also for setting up the fun hole competitions, appreciated.

To our Pros Stuart and Fraser thank you for providing a host of big prizes for the day and for setting up the fun “Beat the Pro” comeptition on the 15th hole.

Two more “thank yous” – firstly to Matt and his team at the Crown for providing great food, service and all round welcoming hospitality to all 160 players – not an easy scheduling task and the team nailed it for us – a big thanks from the Club for enhancing the Silloth experience.

Finally to the back office team of Scott Prentice, Kevin Buchan, Fiona McAdam and Sharon Main for their collective planning, organising and delivery of a fantastic day for everyone and to all the Club volunteers for their support on the day making it a seamless and enjoyable experience for the players. Congratulations on a job well done all.

Delighted to advise that thanks to everyones support and generosity we raised over £6500 for our Greenkeeping team to put to good use on the course and really pleased to raise over £600 in players donations for the very worthy MacMillan Cancer charity. Very generous support, really appreciated.

A great effort by everyone involved and a really enjoyable and successful day for the Club.
