Visitors Alan Cleland and Chris Anderson win Senior Pairs Open
Congratulations to visiting pair Alan Cleland and Chris Anderson on winning today’s Seniors Pairs Better Ball with a sizzling 60, two shots clear of Harburn pair David James and Jim Lawson on 62.
Four teams finished on 63 with better inward half countback playing a part.
In third place, it was another visiting pair Tom Shand and Malcolm MacDonald who had a back nine score of 27, one shot ahead of the Harburn pairing of Billy and Kenny Saunders in fourth.
Ronnie and David Stuart, another local pairing finished in 5th place.
Winners Alan and Chris pick up £80 each in vouchers, David and Jim in second place £60 each, Tom and Malcolm £50 each,Billy and Kenny £40 each and Ronnie and David £25 each.
Well done to all the players for taking part in what was a full house of 92 teams for the first Open of the season at Harburn.
