In Division 3 David Kay took the honours with a joint best score of the day three under 68 (96-28).

Tommy Connolly also finished on 68 (86-18) and it took a back six hole countback to give David the win.

Both players had steady rounds but Tommy will be kicking himself for a quadruple at the short 15th hole. There’s always one Tommy!

David won £18.85 for first place and Tommy £10.15 for second.

Six players birdied the 15th hole – Neil Hogarth, Nick Henderson, Stefan Wozniak, Alan L Thomson, David Harris and David Bryans, all winning £12.67 each.
