Jack Hogarth takes leading qualifier with a net score of 62!

 

A field of 113 players competing in the third Kirk Rosebowl Qualifier which saw low scoring.

 

In the Division One competition Scott O’Hagan took the honours with a gross 73 which gave a net 66, one shot clear of David Heeps.

 

Scott was out in 39 and came home in a fine 34. Birdies at holes 12 & 16 to help the score.

 

David was out in 38 and came back in 36 with a birdie at 11.

 

Scott won £14.30 for first place in the sweep and David picked up £7.70.

 

Well done guys.

 

Division 2 winner and leading qualifier was Jack Hogarth with a great round of 74 which gave a net 62, finishing five shots clear of Paul Chisholm who carded a 76 for net 67. Paul edging out Stephen Burns on the count back.

 

Jack putting together a brilliant round with 11 pars and birdies at holes 3 & 9. Paul with birdies at 7, 12, 14 & 16. Great shooting.

 

Jack won £33.15 for first place in the sweep and Paul picked up £17.85.

 

In Division 3, Duncan MacAulay took top spot with a score of net 68 finishing a shot clear of Shaun Conway.

 

Duncan won £26.00 for first place in the sweep and Shaun picked up £14.00.

 

Four players birdied the 15th hole, William Saunders, William Kay, Stephen Barkey, and Connor Bennewith collecting £21.80 each in the “Two’s” sweep.
