Steven Moffat takes leading qualifier with a net score of 64!

A field of 116 players competing in the Kirk Rosebowl Qualifier.

In the Division One competition Karl Conway took the honours with a fantastic gross 69 which gave a net 65, one shot clear of Scott O’Hagan.

Karl was out in 36 and came home in a fine 33. Birdies at holes 2, 4, 10 & 12 to help the fine score.

Scott was out in 38 and came back in 35 with a fine eagle at 9 and a birdie at 16.

Karl won £14.30 for first place in the sweep and Scott picked up £7.70.

Well done guys.

Division 2 winner and leading qualifier was Steven Moffat with a round of 74 which gave a net 64, finishing two shots clear of Michael Hewitt who carded a 76 for net 66.

Steven putting together a brilliant back nine with 8 pars and a birdie at 16. Michael with birdies at 2, 4 & 5. Well done.

Steven won £37.05 for first place in the sweep and Michael picked up £19.95.

In Division 3, Stewart McKay took top spot with a score of net 71. Coming second as far as the sweep is concerned was Jim McEwan a shot further back on 72.

Stewart won £24.05 for first place in the sweep and Jim picked up £12.95.

Two players birdied the 15th hole, Adrian Bowman and Connor Bennewith collecting £46.40 in the “Two’s” sweep.
