Benign weather conditions yesterday helped some good scoring in the second round of the Veteran’s trophy. The best score was 40 points by Alan Sinclair with Alistair Greer and Grant Hawthorn scoring 38 points.

The leader after two rounds though is Alistair Hutson who followed up his excellent 41 points from the first round with a score of 34 points, putting his total on 75 points, 4 ahead of Grant and Brian Lee and 5 ahead of Brian Anderson.

There were a record number of twos with Alistair Hutton scoring two, and one each from Alan Rome, Russell Rennie, Alan Sinclair and Brian Anderson. In round 1, Alan Thomson and Grant Hawthorn also scored a 2.
