After the deluge of rain we’ve had over the last few days, it was good to see the sun finally make an appearance for the women’s Winter Medal Final.

The sunshine obviously brought out the best in some players with both Hazel Deerness and Sheila McEwan scoring 40 pts. Hazel took the honours, and her first trophy of the season, with the BIH – well done Hazel! Janet Hardie took 3rd spot, pipping Annie Leitch on the BIH – both players had 38pts.

Tuesday 19th is the first of the 9 hole stableford competitions and so far it looks set to be a decent day weather wise!
